Good ergonomics and a well-thought-out design characterize Hans J. Wegner's 1957 classic CH33P chair with upholstered seating. With its organic expression and limited dimensions, it is at least as relevant today as it was more than half a century ago. CH33P’s design has character and clear organic forms. The elegant chair’s height, depth and angles are carefully set to fit the occupant and the dimensions of the wood are chosen according to the factors Wegner found necessary. The characteristically curved backrest is a form-pressed veneer featuring visible round cover caps. The Wegner chair’s wooden construction has a vibrant appearance which lends itself to modern interiors. CP33P has a padded seat upholstered in fabrics or leather which increases comfort and accentuates its luxurious appearance.
